University & Academic Counsellor

York House School is inviting applications for a thoughtful, skilled, and dynamic University and Academics Counsellor committed to supporting our students’ academic success. The University and Academics Counsellor (UAC) is a specialist in academic counseling, supporting Grade 8 to 12 students in their academic course selections; managing the course offerings for the school, and facilitating the university application process. Working alongside another University & Academic Counsellor, this team provides guidance to grades 8 to 12 students to enable them to make informed decisions about post-secondary education. The successful candidate will also be a Teacher Advisor and will be expected to be involved in the co-curricular life of the school.

Junior STEAM Program Coordinator

Reporting to the Principal of the Junior School, the Grades 4-7 STEAM Coordinator works closely with the Principal, the Education Technology Coordinator, and the Kindergarten-Grade 3 STEAM Coordinator to support excellence and consistency across the Junior School in integrated teaching and learning. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in instructional and assessment practices, a passion for teaching and a strong understanding of how girls learn.

Teacher Librarian

York House School is inviting applications from compassionate, innovative, and qualified Teacher Librarians committed to providing an exceptional 21st Century learning environment for our girls. Reporting to the Vice Principal of Student Success, the successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in library management and a current knowledge of texts including online, media and paper. They must have proficiency in information technology (cataloging, database management), research, critical thinking, customer service, communication, and adaptability to new digital tools. This individual will have opportunities to be involved in the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities that enhance students’ experiences at school.
